History
Palm Beach Road runs along the creek side of Navi Mumbai, from Vashi through Nerul to Belapur. It was built by the city development authority as the showpiece road of the planned city — six lanes, a wide planted median and a view of the creek and the flamingo wetlands beside it — and the neighbourhoods along it became Navi Mumbai's most expensive.
